Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the extraordinary strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere. As the CEO of Pokea Afya Foundation, I am deeply inspired by the countless women who rise every day to uplift families, transform communities, and shape a healthier, more equitable world.
At Pokea Afya Foundation, we have witnessed firsthand the power of women , from the dedicated nurses,doctors and healthcare workers serving tirelessly in our medical camps, to the courageous mothers and young girls who pursue health, education, and opportunity despite many challenges.
When we empower a woman, we empower a family. When we educate a girl, we transform a generation. And when women lead with compassion and courage, entire communities flourish.
On this special day, I celebrate the women who serve, the women who lead, and the women who dare to dream beyond limitations. Your strength is the foundation of progress, and your voices continue to inspire change across our society.
